back where you started

[this might sound nostalgic and weepy, but actually it's not. read it with a smile, okay? grin if you must. widely. like this :D]

so, this is it.

graduation, convocation, the last goodbye.
yesterday after rehearsal friends reunite, past follies forgotten.
my coursemates and i found ourselves gathered without even contacting each other.
it's easy to pick up where we left off, as if it's just another day.
if not for the talks of 'where are you working now?', 'who got engaged?', 'what?? their baby is already 3months old?!', it seems like we were just hanging out after class as we used to.
we got crazy afterwards: the mall, the beach, the busy town... there was no place we didn't go.
strangely, we feel more at home here than anywhere else.
the night ended with cultural performances on the convo site (the same stage i used to be on...wuhuu~~)
and ... a meteor shower. (okay, this one was spent with the geophysics slash astronomy gang.)

we will have our last goodbyes and part our ways, but in order to do that we have to come back here. to the place where it all began.

back where we started, all over again.
